September

  • First teachers’ online meeting  2nd September  at 19:00 CET 
  •  Getting parents permissions and present the project to families.
  • Teachers will collect and exchange their ideas on Padlet and Facebook.
  • Pre-evaluation for teachers, students and families.
  • Students learn safety rules playing a game
  • Students design a mascot of the project and give it a name.
  • Students design a collaborative poster in international groups about  health benefits and  nutritional properties of the apples, using any tools students consider useful.

October

  • Votations for mascot of the project.
  • In the apple- laboratory”.Science experiments with apples
  • “From flower to fruit” ebook.  Students show how the life cycle of an apple is, describing the process and the parts of the flower and the fruit. They can use the materials they want.
  • PE videos: games with apples.
  • "Apple recipe" ebook. Students  write recipes containing apples as one of the main ingredients, working on the vocabulary and units of measure

November

  • “Proverbs & Apples: A Compendium of Folklore and Fruit” Students research and write proverbs, tongue twisters and idioms in English and their mother tongue with the word “apple” they write about their meaning.
  • Collaborative story  about the mascot of the project.
  • Collaborative  map where students  locate the main apple production areas, different types of apples and typical products from each country made with  apples. They write some information about it.

 

December

  • “The Apple in Art & Lit” magazine.Students recreate a piece of art or literature where apples are important. They can use different art techniques.
  • Students online meeting, they play a Kahoot game.
  • Final-evaluation for students, teachers, parents
  • Objectives rubric.  
  • Final teachers’ online meeting.
